PUPPARAZZI - ELSA, Style Icon.

"Fashion is all around us; in fabrics,
nature, street art, interiors and architecture.
Look for what inspires you."
-Elsa

Tell us a bit about yourself?

My name is Elsa and I am known as The Frenchie Furbaby on Instagram. I
am a blue fawn French Bulldog that was born in California and lives in
Waco, Texas. I have a human sister that lives in Los Angeles with her
Frenchie. Alexandra and Lyla both keep track of the current fashion
trends and have great style which inspires me to think out of the box.

I have become known for my fashion sense and style.  When I asked
Instagram friends how they would describe my style they said it is
classy and sophisticated with a bit of flare and spunk!
I am the girl next door that strives to be kind hearted to everyone and hopes to
bring happiness to others through my Instagram posts. I have a couple
of quirky traits; I have incredible eye contact so don’t challenge
me to a stare off and I have a very memorable strut when I walk and
run.

How did you get into modeling?
I have never modelled professionally, but have been told that I love the
camera which I think is very accurate. When I am having my photo taken
I am very still and turn my head in various directions to make sure to
get the best lighting and have options. I am just learning about the
art of posing and modeling but I hope to do this professionally in the
future.
" By adding a fabulous scarf,
necklace, brooch, jean element or fur jacket you can take something
that is simply nice to a whole new level of fabulous."
-Elsa

Do you have any styling tips for the budding fashion models out there?
First and foremost, stay true to yourself and let your image portray
who you are as a fur baby. Fashion is all around us; in fabrics,
nature, street art, interiors and architecture. Look for what inspires
you. I would start with classic pieces that you can use as a good
base. I love taking classic styles and pairing them with various
jewelry, clothing items and accessories.  By adding a fabulous scarf,
necklace, brooch, jean element or fur jacket you can take something
that is simply nice to a whole new level of fabulous.
With that being said, it is important to remember the words of wisdom given by my
fashion icon, Coco Chanel “Before you leave the house, look in the
mirror and take at least one thing off.” If you are prone to
overdoing things, this might be a good rule of thumb. There is beauty
in simplicity.

Your biggest fashion pet peeve?
The thing in fashion that I would prefer not to see is when fur babies
follow the crowd and don’t focus on wearing what looks best on them!
The most popular trend may not be your personal style and that is
okay!  It’s important to be conscious of what styles look best on
your body type and what colors work best with your coat and eye color.
Just because something looks amazing on your fashion icon does not
mean it is the best look for you and vice versa.

We love the fashion you showcase on your Instagram, what are your
favourite clothing brands or designers to wear?
I love finding small, budding companies that have quality and unique
items.  Some of my favorite clothing fashion lines are Eye of Dog,
Rororiri, and Bone Vivant.  When I have something in mind but can not
find it I like to draw it up and have it made.

What would you wear on a first date?
For a first date I would wear a classy top with a great scarf or pair
of necklaces.  The goal would be to look lovely but still approachable
and comfortable and always unforgettable.

Favorite look for Spring this year?
The 2018 Pantone color of the year is Ultra Violet so I think anything
in the violet or lavender color range will be huge as well as shades
of pink.  Eye of Dog’s lavender and pale pink fur sleeved tops are
my current favorites! I am dying for some pieces with embroidered
flowers like were shown by Dolce and Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week.
If I can’t find it, I will have some pieces made!

You are so great with accessorizing, where do you find all of your
great accessories?
Accessories can make a plain white shirt something that stands out and
is special. My favorite jewelry lines are with French Bullevard,
Moshiqa, and Pawsdeluxe. For unique scarves, collars, and accessories
I love to shop with Trax Ties, Hound Collection and Lazybonezz.
