A special Meaning

you found me. x

This has been such a tough time for all of us, isolated from friends, family, the world.
The only place to travel has been inwards, & that isn't always a fun vacation...

Living by myself in lockdown I have felt lonely & started to experience Anxiety at times, but I also had this little ball of energy there, by my side every day.

This little being with a wet nose and covered in fur cheering me up every moment she could.
Encouraging me to be present, enjoy the moments of calm and love unconditionally. Teaching me the importance of living life to the fullest.

She has no worries of what will or won't happen, she just wants to play and love me exactly as I am.

I've had Eyvi, my Chihuahua for 6 years. When I first brought her home I didn't know what I wanted to do and she helped me create my Passion for Eye of Dog.
She has been the constant & consistant thing in my life for the last 6 years.
I can't imagine her not being by my side everyday.

The Last year I've felt even more connected to her, She has been next to me through it all.
Listening to me, encouraging me to be present, walk, breathe.

Now that the world is slowly opening back up I wanted to create a physical representation of the connection we share with our dogs.

When we are apart, it will hold us together.
A daily reminder that you are loved, & never alone.

They have helped us all get through a really challenging time.

This pendant is to remind us everyday how lucky we are to have our dogs in our lives, waiting for us to come home
& easing our minds with their daily lessons.

Dogs do have a way of finding you when you need them the most.
Mostly though, I am forever grateful that my dog was by my side through it all.

Importance of mental health & Dogs supporting us.

Many of us feeling the effects that isolation has had on our mental health.
I have experienced depression in the past, but during the last year I started to experience Anxiety for the first time.

It has really made me reflect on how hard Anxiety is to live with, & how so many people are experiencing debilitating Anxiety & Depression daily.

For me personally this pendant is a really special symbol of how important dogs are in calming Anxiety.
How important all dogs are in calming us, & improving our wellbeing. I’m so grateful that we have dogs to help support us mentally.

This pendant holds such a special meaning for me, I'd like it to also have an impact on helping others that suffer daily with their own mental health.

A Support animal is so significant in a persons life & a strong presence in helping someone overcome the daily battles against their own mind.

About mindDog

mindDog assists mental health sufferers to procure, train and certify psychiatric assistance dogs.
These dogs assist people with mental health disorders whose lives are often severely compromised by anxiety and fear.

With their mindDog they are able to travel on public transport, access public places and take part in social activities which have been closed off to them.
